Bottom Line:
National has a reputation for good cars and a pro “pick up at one location, drop off at another” policy. The problem seems to be the rental agreement is confusing and most people don’t know what they’re actually going to be charged. And when it comes to National, prepare to be charged a lot.
Praised For:
- Emerald club
- One way rentals
- Good locations
- Newer cars
Common Complaints:
- Confusing rental agreement
- High price
- Cars not available
- Locations close earlier than stated hours
- Slow refunds
